ZCGC Appoints Douglas Staudmeister as Managing Director, Head of Transformation & Integration

Transformation executive brings more than 20 years of strategy, operations and value creation expertise to ZCG Consulting

ZCG Consulting (“ZCGC”), the business consulting services platform of Z Capital Group, LLC (“ZCG”), today announced the appointment of Douglas Staudmeister as Managing Director, Head of Transformation & Integration. Mr. Staudmeister will lead operational transformation, performance improvement and value creation initiatives across portfolio companies and middle market businesses.

Mr. Staudmeister brings more than 20 years of experience advising private equity sponsors, corporate boards and executive leadership teams on complex growth and turnaround situations. His expertise spans operational transformation, cost reduction, revenue growth, post-merger integration, supply chain optimization and strategic planning across the industrial, aerospace and defense, technology, consumer products and medical device sectors.

Prior to joining ZCGC, Mr. Staudmeister served as a Director at AlixPartners, where he led performance improvement and value creation programs for private equity-backed and public companies. His work included large-scale cost transformation, pricing, M&A integration and operational improvement initiatives across businesses ranging from emerging growth companies to multibillion-dollar global enterprises.

Previously, Mr. Staudmeister served as President of Maritime Tactical Systems, an autonomous maritime technology company serving the defense and government markets. He has also held senior operating roles at Danaher and Dover Corporations, where he led operational turnarounds, lean transformations and strategic growth initiatives. Earlier in his career, he was a Project Leader at The Boston Consulting Group and served as a Captain in the United States Air Force Judge Advocate General’s Corps.

Mr. Staudmeister holds an MBA in Finance, with distinction, from London Business School; a Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from American University Washington College of Law; and a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Notre Dame.
